My name is Karianne Lafrance! A French Canadian Artist based in Sydney, Australia. I was always into art as a kid, and as the responsibility of adulthood got in the way, I managed to reconnect with this aspect of me and it developed into the business that I am very proud of.

A little bit more about me, after graduating from University, I wasn’t ready to settle down in a typical 9 to 5 job for the next 35 years, so I figured I’d go travelling around the world in the hopes of reconnecting with myself. This profound life-changing experience helped me gain a better understanding of who I am, how I interact with others and how I show up in the world. 

My lifetime plans changed, when I met my soul mate in Australia and of course, fell in love with not only the guy but the country and decided to stay. It’s not until a few years later, after giving birth to my beautiful son William, that I knew I wanted to experience more flow, freedom and fun in my career. That’s when I decided it’s time to enable my artistic side and start my very own business- Kalaf Artwork. It’s a creative space that allows me to unleash my emotions, connect back with my authentic self and build meaningful relationships with people around me! I live and breathe this, and I feel most alive when I am doing what I love.
